As a Painter, you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance, quality, and value of our residential properties. You will be responsible for executing painting and surface repair work across apartments and common areas, ensuring all finishes meet company standards. This position contributes directly to resident experience and property presentation.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform interior and exterior painting of apartments, hallways, lobbies, and common areas
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. of weight.
  • Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, plastering, caulking, and priming
  • Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Repair damaged walls, ceilings, and surfaces, including cracks and water damage
  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and company standards
  • Protect surrounding areas, furniture, and fixtures during painting projects
  • Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and supplies
  • Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams to complete unit turnovers on schedule
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, staff, vendors, and supervisors while working on-site
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Must be present on-site and be able to move throughout the building to address building related matters and meet with tenants, staff, vendors and visitors
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs, as well as positioning oneself in small spaces for building inspections and maintenance repairs and lifting and moving large or heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds
  • Must be comfortable with exposure to varying environmental climates and circumstances
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience (residential or commercial preferred)
  • Knowledge of surface preparation, finishing techniques, and materials
  • Ability to use painting tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Work authorization (required)

Hourly pay range - $20.00 - $22.00
