We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT System Administrator to help support and maintain our organization’s technology environment across multiple locations. This role plays an important part in ensuring our systems, tools, and infrastructure run smoothly so employees can work efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting technical challenges, delivering excellent user support, and contributing to a reliable, well-managed IT environment in a collaborative and fast-paced organization.

Essential Job Functions

 
  • Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, Teams, and core collaboration services.
  • Manage identity and access platforms such as Microsoft Entra and Okta, including user provisioning, permissions, and authentication policies.
  • Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and related identity security controls.
  • Support endpoint security platforms, including Microsoft Defender, ensuring systems remain protected and compliant with security standards.
  • Configure and manage device encryption technologies such as BitLocker to safeguard company data.
  • Administer cybersecurity awareness and training platforms (e.g., KnowBe4, Microsoft Defender, etc.) and assist with security education initiatives.
  • Provide technical support for Zoom Phone, Team, Phone, video conferencing platforms, and collaboration tools across the organization.
  • Work with Azure cloud services to support user access, application integrations, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Maintain working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Support and troubleshoot HP networking hardware, including switches and related network infrastructure.
  • Provide end-user support for business applications including Microsoft 365 and Adobe products.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues through structured troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documented solutions.
  • Manage multiple IT support requests simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users through written and verbal communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Deliver responsive, customer-focused IT support with a commitment to service quality and user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to support organizational technology needs.
  • Work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative in resolving technical issues and improving processes.
  • Provide professional, discreet, and high-quality technical support to executives and leadership teams.
  • Ability to remain seated or work at a computer for extended periods and occasionally move equipment consistent with standard IT support duties.
  • Be available for after-hours emergencies, ensure proper insurance requirements are met, report liability and IT incidents to upper management, and submit necessary paperwork.
  • Must be present on-site and be able to move throughout the building to address IT-related matters, including exceptional communication skills to meet with staff, vendors and visitors.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and be comfortable with exposure to varying environmental climates and circumstances.
  • Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Industry certifications are a plus, including Microsoft, Azure, Okta, networking (Cisco, Meraki, or equivalent), or cybersecurity certifications.
  • Knowledge of supporting multifamily real estate, property management, or similar operational environments is preferred.
  • Proven experience providing IT support across multi-site or geographically distributed organizations, including environments similar to managed service provider (MSP) support models.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting executive leadership and other high-priority users with professionalism, discretion, and strong service orientation.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity tools, security best practices, and organizational data protection standards.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT documentation, system inventories, and operational processes such as ticketing systems, knowledge bases, and change management practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and support requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and collaboration when working independently or as part of a team to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Capability to perform typical IT support activities, including working at a computer for extended periods and occasionally moving or setting up standard office technology equipment.

In addition to base compensation, full benefits packages are available.

Annual salary range: $85,000 - $110,000
