Essential Job Functions
- Assist with rent billing and collection, including tracking payments and following up with tenants.
- Process and code invoices for vendor services; ensure timely approvals and submission.
- Maintain accurate financial and lease-related documentation.
- Support daily administrative tasks such as correspondence, filing, scheduling, and data entry.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for tenant inquiries and service requests.
- Coordinate with building staff, vendors, and the Property Manager as needed.
- Must be present with the ability to move throughout the site office to address rent collection and billing matters, ensuring effective communication with staff and vendors.
- Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or accounting preferred.
- Prior commercial real estate or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in navigating computers and property management software, to include Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Avid, Yardi and MRI.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to multitask and handle several projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Work authorization (required)
Annual salary range: $60,000 - $65,000
